Pickled Oiled Steel
This pickled oiled steel is made by removing the scales on the surface of hot rolled steel sheet using hydrochloric acid and applying oil to the surface to prevent its oxidization. It is used for automobiles, mechanical parts, and construction. Its mechanical, chemical, and physical properties are identical with those of hot rolled steel, but it is cheaper. In addition, its coating is better than that of hot rolled steel because it has a glossier surface.
Product Types/Use
Steel for general structure
Steel for general structure or welded structure is produced and used for iron structures, bridges, vessels, and automobiles.
Weatherproof steel
With special elements, its weatherproof and corrosion resistance is good. Thus, it is used for containers, special vehicles, and construction.
Steel for automobile structure
It is high-strength steel with excellent drawing and weldability. It is used for automobile wheels.
Hot rolled special steel
This carbon steel, alloy steel, or tool steel is designed for general mechanical structures. It is used for various mechanical parts through heat treatment.
